The Ume(Plum blossom) is beautiful with a relatively powerful blade of forged T10 steel and striking koshirae. full hand polished bring out hamon is prominent. High quality ray skin (same) is used on the tsuka, and hishigami(paper wedges) is used while doing tsuka-maki. The tsuba are made out of our quality copper with detailing in gold and bronze and an exquisite plum blossom motif. The saya are are full wrapped in rattan with buffalo horn koiguchi and kurikata, The habaki is of one-piece brass construction.
