The blade of this katana is forged using the traditional sanmai lamination technique, which combines a hard edge with a resilient body, significantly enhancing its practical performance.
High quality ray skin (same) is used on the tsuka, and hishigami(paper wedges) is used while doing tsuka-maki. The tsuba is brass, gold and silver plated.
